Background

Jill obtained her Bachelor of Science in Social Rehabilitation Services with a minor in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2003. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2007. She has experience working with the acutely mentally ill in a community counseling setting, assessing individuals as a psychometrist, and as a Mental Health Consultant with adolescents and young adults at Job Corps. For the past five years she has been in the private practice setting working with children, teens, adults, and families facing issues from depression and loss to trauma and relational issues. She has been certified in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) designed for children who have experienced relationship-based traumas (institutionalization, multiple foster placements, maltreatment, and/or neglect). She is also a Prepare-Enrich facilitator.
